Proverbs 8:34 Hearth and Watching and Waiting

Proverbs 8:34 (KJV)  Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors. 

The believer is blessed by God for attentively hearing His Word, and seeking His will. He is watchful and waiting upon Him, to receive his orders from the Lord.

Such a one finds the fullness of God’s blessing. There is a devotion and consecration that please Him. There is diligence and vigilance that characterize the posture of his heart.

Such a heart will God’s Spirit fill with His wisdom for a fulfilling and God honouring life. This is praiseworthy and an example of our emulation to His glory. Amen.
