Romans 8:10 The Spirit Is Life

Romans 8:10 (KJV)  And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 

The righteousness of Christ is given to us, the Holy Spirit indwells us, and the body is dead because sin has been dealt with by Christ’s atoning work and the Spirit is alive directing and instructing through life.

Romans 8:11 (KJV)  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. 

Titus 3:5 (KJV)  Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 

We are made alive, to be partakers of spiritual life, eternal life through the power of the Holy Spirit.
