Romans 8:32 The Magnitude of God’s Love
Romans 8:32 (KJV) He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
For God to send His own Son, and to deliver Him up for us all is the greatest act of divine love. God condescending to save sinful, vile, men plagued with the dreadful disease of sin.
The Godhead, Father, Son and Holy Spirit made man in God’s image. The greatest privilege accorded to men amongst all of God’s creation, even angels possess no such privileges. There is no salvation for fallen angels.
If God had to go to that greatest length to save us, would He not keep and preserve us for all eternity? Certainly, He will is the sense of our text and much more. He gives us also freely all things. That is the best that He can offer us out of His infinite love. All praise and glory to Him. Amen.
