Psalm 119:27 To Understand the Way of Thy Precepts

Psalm 119:27 (KJV)  Make me to understand the way of thy precepts: so shall I talk of thy wondrous works. 

The psalmist pleaded that God would help him understand His laws so that he may glorify Him by his daily practice.

The precepts of God are His instructions, His directions and orders. The psalmist sought that God may enlighten his heart to grasp the truth and embrace it with his heart, and practice it in his life and share it with others of its veracity.

It is a prayer, it is an entreaty with the LORD to open his eyes that he may see wondrous things out of His laws. When we shall see, our lives shall be changed. The Apostle Paul saw the glory of the risen Christ, he began to declare Him from that day onward. The fire that was kindled never died. All praise and glory to Him. Amen.
