Romans 1:17 The Just Shall Live by Faith

Romans 1:17 (KJV)  For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 

This faith is grounded upon the Person and work of Jesus Christ. This is the righteousness of God that was revealed by God to man. It began in the Garden of Eden after the fall of man.

Genesis 3:15 (KJV)  And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. 

Genesis 3:21 (KJV)  Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. 

And this was brought to fruition when Christ came.

Galatians 4:4-5 (KJV)  But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. 

Looking to Christ, we have our sins forgiven, justified of God because of what Christ has done on our behalf, by faith. Thank God for that beginning life with Christ by faith. Indeed, He will see to it that we shall persevere to the end. Amen.
