Psalm 73:26 God Is the Strength of My Heart

Psalm 73:26 (KJV)  My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever. 

There is strength in the life of one beloved of the Lord even when the flesh and the heart fails. This is the psalmist’s testimony for the encouragement of the redeemed.

When the flesh and the heart fail, it seems to be the end of life but for the psalmist who understood his life with God, life does not end with physical life because he understood the reality of eternal life.

He can testify, that God is my portion forever, he is a partaker of life from an eternal God who grants eternal life to His children.

As such, he rested in the God who brings him to begin life in eternity. Amen.
