1 Corinthians 1:9 God Is Faithful

1 Corinthians 1:9 (KJV)  God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 

There is much thanksgiving to see believers growing in their spiritual life as the Apostle Paul testified in 1 Corinthians 1:4-6 (KJV)  I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: 

There was spiritual fruit that he could attest and was most thankful to God as he recalled what God has done from the time the Lord led him to first preach the gospel in the city of Corinth and souls were saved.

Truly, the work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of God’s people enabled them to persevere. He attested that God is faithful who first saved them and enabled them to persevere in faith. A thought of comfort and consolation for all who sow the gospel seed, there is a time of reaping when we bring in the sheaves.
