Isaiah 28:26 Wisdom Traced to God

Isaiah 28:26 (KJV)  For his God doth instruct him to discretion, and doth teach him. 

It is God who imparts wisdom enabling His people to do their work. The skills that we possess comes from Him. He teaches and enables us to work and serve. In the agricultural society of Israel, God enabled the farmer to know the season to plant, cultivate and harvest.

Isaiah 28:25 (KJV)  When he hath made plain the face thereof, doth he not cast abroad the fitches, and scatter the cummin, and cast in the principal wheat and the appointed barley and the rie in their place? 

Let us, therefore, acknowledge Him with our firstfruits by our thanksgiving and worship. Amen.
