Psalm 37:31 None of His Steps Shall Slide

Psalm 37:31 (KJV)  The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. 

There is a fortified heart that God’s Word builds that ensures our steps slide not. “To slide” brings the picture of instability. It brings a picture of an impending fall. It brings the picture of pain and hurt as a result of letting God’s law slip from our hearts.

There is therefore great cause for ensuring our steps slide not and that is possible when the law of our God resides in our hearts. Through meditation and memorization, through experience and patience, we shall come through.

There is a great assurance that the psalmist exhorts us to see, the word “none”. There is a possibility of building such consistency and constancy that our lives are stable. All praise to Him. Amen.
