Psalm 37:34 Wait on the LORD and Keep His Way

Psalm 37:34 (KJV)  Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. 

There is a blessing that patience brings to our hearts as we wait on the LORD. Not to go before Him, not going ahead of Him, but waiting on the LORD. Waiting brings with it a consistent disposition to keep His way. Hold His Word dear to our hearts and practice it.

Such is the blessing of the upright, there is a present blessing, a place of service and refuge, waiting to receive our eternal inheritance – Psalm 37:18 (KJV)  The LORD knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. 

The LORD enables us to see the righteous who are forsaken vindicated. He sees to it to bring us the better days when evil is cut off. What a blessing to wait on the LORD and a joy to keep His Way. Amen.
