John 5:8-9 On the Sabbath

John 5:8-9 (KJV)  Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath. 

It was a special day for this man who was healed in the thirty-eightieth year of his infirmity. It was a long time to suffer. He shall suffer no more when He met Jesus that day.

Jesus said to him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk. Jesus’ words carry the power to heal, power to restore and power to renew. It was the Sabbath day when Jesus healed.

What a blessed day it was for the Maker to remake. It was a blessed day at the coming of Jesus to him. What a blessed encounter.

Whenever Jesus meets with us, there is true healing restoration. All praise and glory to Him. Amen.
