Psalm 115:18 We Will Bless the LORD From This Time Forth

Psalm 115:18 (KJV)  But we will bless the LORD from this time forth and for evermore. Praise the LORD. 

The psalmist extols his people in Psalm 115:9 (KJV)  O Israel, trust thou in the LORD: he is their help and their shield. 

In faith, the psalmist saw the fruits. He saw the LORD’s helping and shielding His people. In His fear, the psalmist exhorts his people to obey His commandments.

The end of that path of faith and the fear of the LORD is blessing and wisdom and understanding that the LORD Himself endows upon His own. They would seek and follow and walk with Him.

This was Enoch’s testimony – Genesis 5:22-24 (KJV)  And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years: And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. 

May this be our testimony too as we await His soon return to take His church to glory. Amen.
