Psalm 116:1-2 I Will Call Upon Him As Long As I Live

Psalm 116:1-2 (KJV)  I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice and my supplications. Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live. 

A resolve born out of one’s experience of God’s faithfulness. A will be moulded out of receiving God’s goodness. Prayers answered. Needs met. This is the blessed life of communion and fellowship with God. All praise and glory to His Name.

The care of God for His own is marvellous. It is perfect, complete, thorough and the best. This care is regardless of our ability to render anything in return but given out of the magnanimity of God’s love.

This is seen in creation when Adam and Eve were placed in paradise. All their needs were well thought out and met by our good LORD. This is also seen in Israel’s exit from Egypt en route through the wilderness to the Promised Land.

This is seen also in our daily life as the psalmist rightly observed. Amen.
