Deuteronomy 31:8 He Will Not Fail Thee

Deuteronomy 31:8 (KJV)  And the LORD, he it is that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed. 

Our LORD is trustworthy. He has promised that He will be with His people. He will be there for them in the direst circumstances. He bids them not to fear, he bids them to courage.

Israel faces formidable foes when they enter the Promised Land. The LORD bids them not to be discouraged seeing the power and strength of the adversary. The LORD shall prove Himself strong for them. The LORD doth go before them to make smooth pathways in their conquest of the Promised Land.

Exodus 33:14 (KJV)  And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest. 

The people of God are therefore exhorted to be courageous to do His will. He will not fail them. Amen.
