Psalm 46:10-11 Our Refuge
Psalm 46:10-11 (KJV) Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
Our LORD is our hiding place, a refuge in times of trouble. Our very present help indeed. Let us be blessed in His presence, let us be still and rest in Him, our LORD and our God.
Psalm 46:2-3 (KJV) Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
Dwelling in the presence of God, meditating upon His promises, we are kept in quiet confidence that His grace shall prevail for His people.
Psalm 46:4-5 (KJV) There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High. God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
Let us, therefore, pray as our LORD taught “Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” Amen.
