John 10:10 Life More Abundantly

John 10:10 (KJV)  The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Jesus entered human history through His incarnation, the holy child born from the womb of the virgin Mary, attested to His deity and His humanity. He is both God and man in one person. He represented the Godhead to reach out to men gone astray. He also represented man by His life and by His death, to fulfil all the laws of God on our behalf.

In His death, Jesus Christ took upon Himself our sins. He died to bear the penalty of sin on our behalf. And He rose from the dead on the third day, victorious over sin and death.

Romans 10:10 (KJV)  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 

Jesus is the true Saviour of the world. He did not come to steal, nor to steal or to destroy. Praise God for our Saviour. May our faith be firmly grounded and stayed upon Jesus. Amen.
