John 6:36-38 All That the Father Giveth Me Shall Come to Me

John 6:36-38 (KJV)  But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not. All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

Our Lord Jesus revealed His mission on earth was commissioned by the Father in heaven. Although there are those who do believe Him not, there are those who will come to Him. These are the ones whom the Father has given to Him that will receive salvation through Him.

Our Lord Jesus is very clear concerning His mission to save the lost. He will not be detracted but will wholly obey to fulfill the Father’s will. He sets for us the example for we too are on His mission. Christ commissioned the church to go forth to win the lost. Let the church be focused on its mission for His glory.

Matthew 24:14 (KJV)  And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
