Proverbs 30:5 Every Word of God Is Pure

Proverbs 30:5 (KJV)  Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 

God’s Word is pure. It is refined and tried, we can safely rely – Psalm 12:6-7 (KJV) The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

It exposes sin, all pollution and spiritual corruption. As such, we are protected from these ravages. Thank God for His Word. The guidance it imparts, and the wisdom it carries to us for daily life. Let us not forget to open our Bibles, let us read with much prayer and earnestness.

Truly, as the Apostle Paul rightly concurs in Romans 7:12 (KJV)  Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 

Let us appropriate it for our soul’s sake this new day and every day. Amen.
