Psalm 5:11 Rejoice and Be Joyful in the LORD

Psalm 5:11 (KJV)  But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. 

The LORD never fails His people. The psalmist testifies of this truth and he rejoices. His exuberance was a recurring shout for joy. The joy of peace received the joy of spiritual rest for the soul because of His guidance and sovereign care for His people.

To trust in Him is to love His Name for He is true to our trust for He is ever faithful. It is in our trials that He meets with us and manifests His glorious presence to meet our needs.

Lamentations 3:23 (KJV)  They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness. 

Lamentations 3:24 (KJV)  The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. 

Lamentations 3:26 (KJV)  It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD. 

Let us be joyful in the LORD for He is indeed our everlasting portion. Amen.
