Psalm 6:9 The LORD Hath Heard My Supplication
Psalm 6:9 (KJV) The LORD hath heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.
The agony of the tormented heart is lightened when the LORD’s help was sought by the psalmist for his predicament. He understood that in the midst of much rambling surrounding him, the LORD clearly knows what is going on. He committed himself to his LORD’s care. The LORD will order all things well.
There was a specific prayer that he brought to the LORD at the throne of grace. He testifies the LORD will receive his prayer. He rested in the LORD’s wisdom to do all things well. This is the believer’s power with God and blessing for his own heart.
The Apostle Paul likewise exhorts the people of God in Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV) Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Thank God indeed for answered prayers brought in faith at the throne of grace. Amen.
