Proverbs 3:24 Thy Sleep Shall Be Sweet

Proverbs 3:24 (KJV)  When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet. 

A good night’s rest and good sleep are from the Lord. The peace of mind where the cares of the heart are cast upon the Lord. Fully resting in His provision and protection and purpose. The heart is not plagued by any servile fear.

The heart of faith is a blessing bestowed from heaven. A heavenly blessing. The body and the soul are strengthened and refreshed by needful rest from the rigours of life.

This is the man endowed with heavenly wisdom, keeping the law of God because his mind is stayed on Him. This makes for true happiness and life. Amen.
