Romans 5:1 Peace with God

Romans 5:1 (KJV)  Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 

God’s peace comes through our Lord Jesus Christ. He brings us reconciliation with God through faith in Him. Who He is and what He did and what He is now doing.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is God’s appointed vessel by which man’s sin is dealt with so that he finds true peace and the forgiveness of sin. Jesus lived a perfect life obeying God’s laws on our behalf and was crucified on the cross to take away our sins.

When God the Father sees the sinner, He now sees the atoning blood of the Son shed to wash away our sins.

Romans 5:10 (KJV)  For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life. 

After Jesus died for our sins, He resurrected from the dead on the third day, victorious over sin and death.

… the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost (Romans 14:17). Amen.
