Psalm 18:32 It Is God

Psalm 18:32 (KJV)  It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect. 

The psalmist gives God glory, own Him for all things, with thanksgiving praises Him for every guidance in his life. He declared that God has endued him with strength and made his way perfect. Walking with God has indeed been his greatest blessing. Rather God walking with him has indeed been his greatest blessing.

He attributes strength to come from Him. He has been helped. He acknowledged Him with grateful thanksgiving – Psalm 28:7 (KJV)  The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him. 

Meditating upon what God has done for him and what God is doing for him causes him to break forth with songs of praise. “It is God” was the theme of every song of praise. Amen.
