Romans 8:32 He Spared Not His Own Son
Romans 8:32 (KJV) He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?
The Father’s care for His children is seen by the great extent to which He would go to secure us in Him. He sent His only begotten Son to be a propitiation for our sins. The damning ailment of sin that was upon us, He only could heal, and that healing came only by a great sacrifice, His own Son was delivered up for us all. Jesus Christ the Son of God bore our sins on the cross suffering the agony and torment of the wrath of God.
It was our sins which we could not remove by ourselves and it could only come by the atoning blood of Christ for without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins. His body was broken, His blood shed, and the justice of God was met by the tremendous sacrifice that the Father was willing to go through so that we can be saved.
Having given us all, will He spare anything less for our well-being? Surely He will freely give us all things is the reasonable reasoning for our meditation. Amen.
