John 12:31 The Judgment of This World

John 12:31 (KJV)  Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

The judgment of this world comes with Christ’s crucifixion upon the cross, whatsoever will, may be saved escaping the judgment – John 12:32 (KJV)  And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

This world lies in darkness dominated by the prince of this world Satan himself – Colossians 1:13 (KJV)  Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: 

Upon the cross, the devil thought he is defeating Christ, but Christ on the cross was reconciling us to God, thus defeating the devil, and freeing believers from his dominion and snare. The enemy has no power over God’s people, because we belong to the kingdom of God.

1 John 5:18-19 (KJV)  We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not. And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lieth in wickedness. 

Praise God that the devil is a defeated foe. Amen.
