Acts 24:16 A Clear Conscience
Acts 24:16 (KJV) And herein do I exercise myself, to have always a conscience void of offence toward God, and toward men.
The Apostle Paul, his life was lived with a clear conscience. He says that he would exercise himself in self-examination and confession before God and before men.
As the psalmist rightly testified of such a blessed state of being – Psalm 4:3 (KJV) But know that the LORD hath set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
In worship, in the meditation of God’s Word, brings faith and wisdom to life – Psalm 4:5 (KJV) Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
He further extolled in Psalm 4:8 (KJV) I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, LORD, only makest me dwell in safety.
Amen.
