Psalm 5:11 Rejoice

Psalm 5:11 (KJV)  But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee. 

The people of God are commanded to rejoice in the LORD. He takes care of His own, they are precious in His sight, and they are His very own. God’s people are therefore comforted that God defendest them amidst the gravest affliction the darkest valley.

We are instructed to rejoice, to shout for joy, to be joyful in the LORD. Those who put their trust in the LORD can rest and wait upon Him for deliverance and salvation. They can never be disappointed. He has covenanted to fend for His own.

Let us meditate upon the power of God, His ability to know our predicament and His wisdom to guide and navigate His people through the pathway of life.

Are you in any trial? Fret not. Neither be thou dismayed. Trust in the LORD and rejoice. Amen.
