1 Corinthians 1:9 God Is Faithful

1 Corinthians 1:9 (KJV)  God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord. 

God is true to His Word. He is most trustworthy and reliable. His word is truth. In Him is no lie. The church in Corinth is assured by the Apostle Paul of the great salvation that God has wrought through the Holy Spirit when the gospel was preached bringing them into communion with God through Christ.

God who saved them will also establish them in the faith and He shall preserve them and conduct them all the way to heaven.

1 Corinthians 1:4-8 (KJV)  I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ; That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and in all knowledge; Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you: So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. 

Even so, Lord Jesus, come!
