1 Corinthians 15:58 Your Labour Is Not In Vain in the Lord

1 Corinthians 15:58 (KJV)  Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 

The labour of the saints in the Lord is not in vain. It is the way by which the Apostle Paul encourages the brethren to press on with the good work of faith for His glory.

He addresses his beloved brethren, by a term of endearment, for the work of the Lord is yet undone, and he is urging them on to press on to the finish.

It is in the strength of the Lord that His work is accomplished, for which we give thanks – 1 Corinthians 15:57 (KJV)  But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
