Romans 3:25 Faith in His Blood

Romans 3:25 (KJV)  Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 

The wrath of God against sin was appeased or satisfied through Christ’s perfect life and atoning work on our behalf. His blood was shed for the cleansing of our sins. By Christ’s sacrifice through faith in His blood, we receive the remission or forgiveness or pardon for sins committed against God’s laws.

God allowed time that we would recognize our sins and repent and turn to Christ. This turning to God is solely by His grace – Romans 3:24 (KJV) Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
