Hebrews 13:16 But to Do Good

Hebrews 13:16 (KJV)  But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased. 

Here is given to us the injunction to do good, by our praises and offerings to our God through prayer. As we are led by the Holy Spirit, believers are led to accomplish the goodwill of God for His glory.

This involves doing good to our neighbour to see to his well-being and happiness. It involves sacrifice on our part. It is a work of grace in the heart by the Holy Spirit for the glory of God.

Having understood the will of God that His blessings upon the saints in well-doing, the the Holy Spirit energize His people to do His bidding to the honour of His grace. Amen.
