Nahum 1:7 He Knoweth Them That Trust In Him

Nahum 1:7 (KJV)  The LORD is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him. 

The LORD can recognize and see those who love Him and serve Him. He is a stronghold, a strong arm to defend and keep them who follow Him. Indeed, the LORD is good. He will be there for His people in the day of trouble.

Therefore, the words of comfort for His people facing impending calamity. Once again, He demonstrated His faithfulness to those who trust in Him. He will not fail. He does not forsake. He will be there to uphold and sustain His own.

In the midst of the choking darkness of evil, the LORD can deliver and keep for Himself those who would stay upon Him and hold the fort. Amen.
