Psalm 56:10 Praise His Word
Psalm 56:10 (KJV) In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.
The psalmist praises God for His Word, attesting to God’s faithfulness. He was helped.Therefore, he raises his praises to Him in thanksgiving. He was delivered from danger and acknowledged was from the LORD, his God. That personal relationship enabled him to call upon Him in the day of trouble.
He described the danger that came upon him – Psalm 56:5-6 (KJV) Every day they wrest my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil. They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.
Faith in God enabled him to make progress walking with his LORD. With a sense of God’s presence with him he extolled – Psalm 56:4 (KJV) In God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me. Amen.
