Romans 8:28 All Things Work Together for Good

Romans 8:28 (KJV)  And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to his purpose. 

A glorious promise God brings before His people that His heart is for their good and He has the power to work all things well for our good. Life’s intricacies and unexplainable happenings can be received with thanksgiving and praise, with quiet submission to the sovereign God’s dealing with us. He will make all things well.

Solomon brings forward a similar thought in Proverbs 10:22 (KJV)  The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it. 

Those who love God are those who are His by the new birth and we may affirm the Apostle Paul’s truth exhortation in Philippians 1:6 (KJV)  Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform ituntil the day of Jesus Christ: Amen.
