John 10:28 They Shall Never Perish

John 10:28 (KJV)  And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

Secured in Christ, we are given eternal life. This spiritual life that allows us communion with God the Father through His Son Jesus Christ cannot be shut out once it begins. And it entails God’s protection of all who are His.

Our Lord explains why when He said in John 10:29 (KJV)  My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

And the amazing truth when our Lord says in John 10:30 (KJV)  I and my Father are one.

We are protected by the Godhead, Father, Son and the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Christ that dwells in us. So the Apostle John affirms that the evil one has no power to overtake God’s people in 1 John 4:4 (KJV)  Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world. 

Thrice protected, we are indeed very secure! Amen.
