Deuteronomy 7:9 The Faithful God

Deuteronomy 7:9 (KJV)  Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations; 

God is faithful. God’s people can rely upon Him to guide and govern. By His Word, He leads us in the path of righteousness. By His presence, He protects and provides.

Psalm 121:3-6 (KJV)  He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. 

His help is generational. His presence is to a thousand generations to care and comfort. Let His people therefore know that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God. Amen.
