Psalm 130:7 Let Israel Hope in the LORD
Psalm 130:7 (KJV) Let Israel hope in the LORD: for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.
In the LORD there is fullness of hope. His people can come to Him and rely upon Him to save them. For there is mercy with the LORD is the psalmist confession, an experiential testimony of the penitent.
Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications. If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand? But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.
Indeed, none can stand if the LORD will not pardon sin but in Him is true forgiveness.
I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.
With the LORD, our patient waiting is not in vain. He comes and redeems and His people is cleansed and comforted. Amen.
