Isaiah 25:9 We Have Waited For Him

Isaiah 25:9 (KJV)  And it shall be said in that day, Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the LORD; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation. 

Waiting upon God was the testimony of God’s people throughout the ages. He will save us, this is the LORD. Have you any distress, have you any trouble in your heart? Come to the LORD.

We shall be glad and rejoice in His salvation this is the blessed testimony of God’s people. He answered their prayers as they waited upon Him. To wait is to hope in Him.

Isaiah 25:8 (KJV)  He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it. 

The God who has the power over death, to give life, is certainly the God of all the earth. Let us therefore be glad and rejoice in Him. Amen.
