Psalm 91:14-16 Because He Hath Set His Love Upon Me

Psalm 91:14-16 (KJV) Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. ¹⁵ He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. ¹⁶ With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.

The LORD was able to read the heart of the psalmist. He was a man who loved the LORD. The LORD gave the blessings of His promises for deliverance, in exaltation, in answered prayer, in honour, with long life and with salvation.

What a list of all-encompassing blessings that the psalmist experienced as a result of loving the LORD. He has set his heart to love Him, a wonderful spiritual disposition worthy of our emulation.

Truly, there is no lack to him that love His LORD. All praise to His blessed Name. Amen.
