Psalm 118:24 Rejoice and Be Glad

Psalm 118:24 (KJV) This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

A new day, the freshness and blessing of a new day. Time is a blessing that the LORD bestows upon His finite creation. The psalmist exhorts God’s people to rejoice and be glad in it.

His salvation grace upon His people is indeed cause for rejoicing and gladness – Psalm 118:28 (KJV) Thou art my God, and I will praise thee: thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

And deliverance from every evil work – Psalm 118:14 (KJV) The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation. Amen.
