Proverbs 3:13 The Happy Man

Proverbs 3:13 (KJV) Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.

The happy man is he who finds wisdom, the wisdom that opens the way to eternal life – John 14:6 (KJV) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Having come to Christ, the man getting understanding by the indwelling work of the Holy Spirit – 1 Corinthians 2:12 (KJV) Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Why is this man happy? It comes with the blessing of God’s wisdom that is found in Christ – Proverbs 3:16-17 (KJV) Length of days is in her right hand; and in her left hand riches and honour. Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. Amen.
