Colossians 1:19 In Him Should All Fullness Dwell

Colossians 1:19 (KJV) For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

In Christ, is the fullness of God manifested to man. In Christ, we see the representative of the Godhead on earth in human flesh. In Christ’s death and resurrection is manifested God’s salvation for man. For Christ rose from the dead conquering sin and death for His people.

Colossians 1:20 (KJV) And, having made peace through the blood of his cross, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.

Heaven and earth is separated because of the corruption of sin on earth. And sin was dealt with in Christ, so in Christ, sinful man destined for the judgment of hell become a partaker of eternal life on earth now and in heaven for eternity when the soul separates from the body at death. But a day is coming when Christ will return and bring to believers in all the ages a complete reconciliation giving man a resurrection body to house his immortal saved soul.

Truly, in Christ dwells the fullness! May He have the preeminence in our hearts and lives. Amen.
