Psalm 103:17 The Mercy of the LORD

Psalm 103:17 (KJV) But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

The lovingkindness of the LORD endures from everlasting to everlasting, the favour of the LORD endures forever to them that reverence Him with filial fear. It endures from the beginning of no beginnings, from eternal past, endures to eternity future.

The LORD manifest Himself by His presence through His Word that His righteousness might endure to children’s children, that is, even to the third generation.

Man’s life indeed is brief and fleeting, he may not see beyond the period of his earthly sojourn – Psalm 103:15-16 (KJV) As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more. But the LORD doth care for his posterity, committed to His care. Amen.
