John14:19 But Ye See Me

John 14:19 (KJV) Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.

There is an inextricable bond between Christ and His bride, the church. The people of God see Christ through the reality of God’s truth as articulated in His written Word. God’s Word is life. It gives life to the hearer, spiritual life when the Holy Spirit carries it by His power into the hearts of His people.

Christ rose from the dead, triumphant over sin and death. He is alive. Because He lives, we live also through the life that He imparts to us.
