Psalm 104:10-15 He Sendeth
Psalm 104:10-15 (KJV) He sendeth the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills. They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst. By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches. He watereth the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of thy works. He causeth the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth; And wine that maketh glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengtheneth man’s heart.
The LORD sustains and nourishes the earth and all its inhabitants. From sending the springs to water the valleys and the hills so that the animals may quench thirst, for the thirsty birds which sing among the branches. Giving life and cheer to His creation.
The rain is sent by the LORD so that the earth is watered that fruit may spring forth. Even the grass, watered by the dew and the rain brings forth the lush pastures for the grazing cattle and the provision of herbs for the strengthening and healing of man.
With the earth nourished, man who is the heart of the LORD’s creation, is gladdened, his face shines forth with radiances and his heart strengthened. All from the goodness of the LORD. All praise and thanksgiving and glory to Him. Amen.
