Isaiah 30:18 Wait on the LORD

Isaiah 30:18 (KJV) And therefore will the LORD wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him.

The LORD is longsuffering towards His erring children that they may given time be jolted to repentance. Yet a little longer and His judgment shall come.

And for the remnant in Israel, they may be driven to despair. And so the LORD exalts these ones with a word of encouragement to continue to look to Him.

Blessed are all they that wait for Him. All who will seek Him and follow Him shall not be disappointed. Amen.
