Isaiah 1:18 Come Now, And Let Us Reason Together

Isaiah 1:18 (KJV) Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Isaiah pronounced salvation in Christ and he invites his listeners to come to Him. There is a way out from the misery caused by sin. Sins can be cleansed, the guilty conscience receives a much awaited peace.

Why would the invitation not be accepted? The forgiveness and cancelling of sins. Unless, those who hear have been sorely deceived by vain promise of a life of transgression.

And yet the the prophet pronounced the blessing and boldly invite his listeners to come. Come and find true rest for your souls. Amen.
