John 16:12-14 The Spirit of Truth Will Guide You Into All Truth

John 16:12-14 (KJV) I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

The Holy Spirit is called the Spirit of truth guiding God’s people to glorify Christ. Through Christ is the way of reconciliation with God.

The Holy Spirit will bring to bear the truth so that the disciples of Christ, after Christ’s ascension, will understand the full extent of what Christ has done for them and will call them to do.

The Holy Spirit brings conviction of the heart to the truth of God’s Word and in doing so, Christ is magnified. Therein is the fullness of life. Amen.
