Proverbs 25:11 (KJV) A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Appropriate words, fitting and comforting words befitting the circumstance in which it is to be spoken has immeasurable value. Such words were wanting in the conversation of Job’s three friends with Job in the time of his affliction.

How valuable are rightly ordered words! A rare gift in a graceless world. It comes from a measured heart sanctified by the Word of God and taught by the Holy Spirit. As Solomon well said in Ecclesiastes 12:10 (KJV) The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth.

As a beautiful picture, an exquisite picture that appears to the eyes of the beholder, captivates and conveys the fitting message of the artist. Amen.
