John 15:11 Fullness of Joy

John 15:11 (KJV) These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Fullness of joy, the joy that Christ bestows to His disciples who abides in Him is to be fully appropriated. It comes when Christ is followed with wholeheartedly.

When the people of God take time to meditate upon the life of Christ and ponder His teachings and His doings, there shall be given in their hearts an unspeakable joy that has been the testimony of John but also of Peter and of Paul.

It is a joy that comes when Christ and His glory strengthen and fill our hearts – John 15:7-8 (KJV) If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. Amen.
